An event of lifetime: Bloggers meet at Trident, BKC

Alright, before I start narrating the awesomeness this day brought along; I'd love to thank IndiBlogger for organizing Stayfree Women's for change meet in association with Stayfree India and UNICEF from the bottom of my heart. Moreover, I'm already looking forward to my next meet. I read somewhere on the internet "Don't be timid or squeamish about your actions, whole life is about experimenting with new things", and the moment I learned about a Blogger's meet happening in my hometown Mumbai, I knew I must attend the event. The fact that the venue of the meet was Trident Hotel, Bandra helped my case immensely (You know my college is in Bandra itself, so I happen to be quiet acquaint with Bandra. Hence, convincing my parents wasn't a pain). The day started with a high note; a late-to-rise person, I sprang upright as soon as the alarm's ring hit my ears. Not anticipating or expecting anything extraordinary I started prepping up myself from the d

So you think you can limit my love for Marine Drive?

"Serenity is not peace after the storm has passes, but peace within the storm itself". This is the feeling you (or should I say I?) get whilst at Marine Drive. Yes, I went there today after a few months and I gotta admit folks; the more you try to suppress your love, the more it ends up engulfing you. "Love", a word which in today's era you hear 100s of times in a day. What is it? Who first got this feeling? How? Why this world has gone gaga over this simple four-lettered-word? Blah, I'm getting mushy again! Hmm, so where was I? Yeah, Marine Drive! I have already criticized Indian summers beforehand; how unsuitable they are for taking a trip somewhere. And me, being a person who loves to walk a lot when discovering new places, I hate the summers because of this wrath. But today's day was a bit different... It was 11.00am in the morning and I was fast asleep, the annoying 'Nokia Tune' woke me up from my deep slumber. It was a call from

Casual stuff that confirms I still love my Blog

A friend commenting on a post almost a year old on Facebook made me realize how fast a year has went past me. And I also discovered, by the means of my blog, that most of this year, apart from documenting positive and inspiring things, I also whined terribly too much about a life which once, I wanted desperately! Being into St. Andrew's College is one of that thing. I whined and complained a lot, but now I realized that it is the sole place I can imagine myself in. The thought of being in some other college freaks me out now. Not a person who believes in regretting, I gave up on my own terms and conditions and went on regretting about my choice and condition, which was mere an outcome of a choice that I made approximately a year ago. But now, it feels as if I was resisting change; change from school to college, change in peer group, change within my mindset. I am more than amazed on the changes, other than what came along the package of being in college, that crept onto me wit
