Random thing from my Mind

Image
Sorry people, I was kind-of busy (bored, to be exactly accurate) so I didn't post since, a week. But, I am back wishing all Witches, Monsters, Vampires, Beasts and Zombies, A happy Halloween (hmm, I know it is sounding off a bit cheesy!). Now, focusing back on my post. In last post I had mentioned about two new feature on my blog, On my Playlist and Random things from my Mind. Well, this post is going to be "Random things from my Mind". I know I bored you a lot with my mindless chat. So here is the visual treat..... Clay Lamps aka, Diyas It wouldn't be wrong to say I'm still in a festive mood. By the way, the festival season has just begun in the West. This picture is of the lit Clay lamps aka Diyas. Warming and welcoming, right? Rangoli, a proper one! Well, it is made by me! I am still in awe because I'm quiet bad at making traditional rangolis and do the forbidden: use scale and a pencil for it! But this time around, I used a pencil to draw th

Okay, it's almost a miracle! I never post this frequently (and by this frequently I mean, just the next day). But, as you people know if I have something going in my mind or something on my mind and have time on my hand then, I share it with you all. Also, I got a suggestion from a few people to post pretty frequently as they eagerly look forward to it. But, sorry to disappoint you folks, you shouldn't expect a post from me every other day (the inspiration kind-of) as I am a quality upon quantity person and quiet a lazy bum too. Also, I try to post as frequently as possible. I am thinking of adding two new feature to my blog: On my Playlist and Random things from my Mind . Through this, I'd be able to at least keep up people updated if I don't have a time for a full-fledged post. Do tell me whether you guys would like this feature. Now, about this video: I randomly came across this while browsing through Desi-box's website searching few new-comer's mus

Lets Catch up....

Woah! At last these Mid-term examinations got over and I am breathing a heavy sigh of relief since, yesterday evening. College is off for Diwali now, for three weeks. Today, is the first day of my Diwali holidays and I am already BORED ! I really hate this thing happening to me: Making elaborate bucket-list during examinations about what To-Do in holidays and spending a fair amount of time day-dreaming about them and when they befall me I am blank, with all my To-Do things going down the drain. The same thing happened to me during my Five months longs vacation, this summer. But things are a bit different this time around, during summer it was not a usual summer vacation in my sense, It was a Full-stop to my School life, a brief Full-stop to a chapter of life after which a new chapter of College-life was about to begin. Now, after I have begun this "College-life" phase it is truly hard being home most of the time. I am quiet an outdoorsy person and hate being home all day, af

The best avoided "IF"

All this started with that girl saying, "St. Xavier's College", whom I befriended in the train on my way back to home, when I asked in which college she is in. A bolt struck me all of sudden and left me numbed, literally. And forced me to re-think my decision of choosing St. Andrew's College. Sure, my college is fun and I love it too but, things are far more complicated for me as this whirl-winding stuff is draining me out emotionally. St. Xavier's College was the first college I knew ever since, I came to know what a college is. I pictured myself entering the Gates of the Gothic structure and feel privileged until, I figured out that it does not provide Commerce stream. It was the summer of the year 2009 and St. Andrew's was the college I had just started to learn about. Just keep a Budhha outlook in life and whiz past all you problems I don't regret my decision of choosing my college but the thing which is bogging me down is this "IF"! &

"WHAM" and a Life lesson learnt

Okay. I surely got a lesson for life today, I admit it was entirely my fault, I shouldn't have run for it. I know what you are thinking, "What is this and why?". Let me clear out the air about it first, after which you will come to know why am I doing some "I admit" stuff.... It all started this morning, I woke up pretty late as usual at around 10.00am. And frankly speaking, every morning of mine, from the minute I wake up is like a race....brushing my teeth, bathing, having food, etc. So anyone can't expect me to waste even a minute hovering upon a single thing, but here comes an exception, Newspaper . And that's where I wasted my precious minutes this morning, lingering around them and assimilating every word as I flipped through the sheets. Mistakes, a learning thing? Yes Generally, I have to leave my house by 10.30am everyday, in order to reach college on time for my 12.30pm lecture, by catching the 11.13am Churchgate local. But today, due t
