"Ne Aaja Veh" Speedy Singhs and Miss Franky!

Image
Ah..I am desperate for this movie, I saw the trailer and fell in love with it. This is the second song of the movie, "Speedy Singhs", first being "Shera ki kom Punjabi". I totally love the background score, the song which is sung by Veronica Mehta (If you don't know her let me tell you, she is an UK-based R&B singer) as well as the figure skating part which has been shot with an animated Taj Mahal in the background. I totally love snow and winter! Hey, sorry I haven't been able to update since, a week due to my busy schedule (tsk. I love saying the word "Busy Schedule" every now and then! LOL). Anyways my exams are going to start next week! Yup...so soon, it has been only 3weeks since, college began and exams cropped up so early. Let me tell you a secret....I was the most straight-forward and frank in my life yesterday! Yup, people who know me well know that I am a total extrovert but only around certain people. I am gonna describe the thi

I am right!

Few day ago (umm...should I say last week?) I wrote a post on the start of this particular phase of life called "college life", I meticulously described about the each and every problems I was suffering initially. Well, the things with me has settled down and I am loving this new life, each and every second ! Initially, i.e. during the first week I lost faith in my decision of choosing St. Andrew's College over several other colleges I could have easily got accepted into. I felt lost and had started to hate myself for making the wrong decision, but....now I know that I didn't make a wrong choice, I was right in my decision! Travelling is still a bit hectic during peak hours. I had a thing that I wasn't able to make that many friends during the first week as I am capable of making (hey! I am an extrovert but only in certain surrounding!) mainly because neither I wasn't mentally able to adapt myself to this new way of living nor other people around me were. Now

Second day college life: Forgot how to smile!

Okay! Yesterday was the first day of my college, I was too much excited for it to happen. As I walked inside the gigantic gate of the college I was so happy but also a bit missing my school. I don't know how to put this thing but I really, really and really miss my school life! During my school years, I used to imagine my future college life, how exciting it would be, just full of fun, independence and friends. Whenever I was asked to fill a slam book by any of my friends, I used to write college-life as my favorite life. The simple reason for me writing college-life as my favorite one was, due to television! They show in TV the kind-of fun-filled, glamorous and joyous life collegians live, and I desperately longed for that! I am just so much stressed out.....! Now, after the Day 2 of attending college all I want to accept is, I was totally WRONG and school-life was much, much and much better! This college life is no fun task, you surely get many friends from different backg

Friendship Day? Whatever!

Just done watching "Awarapan"- A movie starring my favorite actor Emran Hashmi! I always had a soft corner within my heart for Emran Hashmi movies, they always leave me weeping with joy by their endings. This movie "Awarapan", shows a friend sacrifice for a friend without thinking twice. Tomorrow is Friendship Day and I am sure most of you must have planned elaborate movie or cafe dates with your friends. But, personally I don't have any respect for those people who look-out for chances to show their friendship only at the time of "Friendship Day"! So this is the poster of the movie I watched this afternoon. Friendship is something which is for a lifetime. In my opinion, there shouldn't be any special occasion to showcase Friendship, it is an emotion to be expressed daily and freely. Just tying a friendship-band does not signifies Friendship, it's an emotional connect between two people, which can't be specifically described literall

Slut Walk or Besharmi Morcha

Image
"Slut Walk" or  "Besharmi Morcha"  as it is called in Indian lingo was carried out in New Delhi yesterday. Slut Walk is something which started in Canada and soon, many nation followed it. In India, the first slut walk was held in Raipur, Chattisgarh a couple of years ago. If you don't know what a "Slut Walk" or the so-called  "Besharmi Morcha"  is let me brief it to you, it's a kind-of protest by women which are done to demand for their right to wear clothes of their preference without being eve-teased by men. Slut Walk Ok...let me tell you one thing, when a woman is molested or abused or even eve-teased people put all the blame on the woman whilst the real culprit is a man! People say that she must have worn something immoral or indecent which must have led to this, they generally overlook a fact that fully-covered or decent women are too molested! Now, as all Indians know Delhi is not only the capital of India but also "T
